Session 7: The Next Episode Report

General Summary

The party discovers that 3 Doppelgangers were hired by Alastair Reven to try and insite a war with The Empire. They gain an audience with "The Serpent", the leader of The Black Claw - an Underground crime organization.   On their way back home the party are attacked by the 3rd doppelganger and defeat him. They then go to the King and explain what has happened. The King realizes that he is being manipulated into starting a war, but lets his emotion get the best of him. He offers the party a job escorting supplies to the fortifications outside of Vallyn's Gate. Once the supplies have arrived, the king plans on releasing an official declaration of war. The party are urged to keep this job secret as the Halflings & Gnomes of Millingbarrow aren't on board with going to war.
