He enjoys manipulating people and often hides his true intentions behind an easy smile. He is extremely self-serving, but in a way that doesn’t draw immediate attention to his greed.
Dharakas runs a smuggling ring for forbidden magical relics and cursed items. He uses his small size and sability to disappear into crowds to evade capture. He often makes deals with higher-ups and dangerous individuals in exchange for favors or information, and he blackmails politicians and influential figures to stay on top. His true skill is in getting things past the law, making him one of the most elusive crime lords in the city.
The Bandersnatch may find themselves tracking down stolen artifacts or dealing with the consequences of Quashis’ smuggling. The imp may try to undermine the Bandersnatch by spreading lies or framing them for crimes Quashis himself committed, especially if the vigilante gets too close to his operations.

Dharakas was born under mysterious circumstances, possibly the offspring of a fiend summoned into the material plane by reckless mages. His demonic nature made him a target of fear and prejudice in his early years, forcing him to rely on his wits to survive. As a runt among fiendish kin and an outcast among mortals, Dharakas learned quickly how to manipulate others, turning his small size and unassuming demeanor into a weapon.
Finding himself in Vallyn’s Gate, a city of opportunity and shadow, Dharakas thrived in the chaotic underbelly. Initially, he started small: picking pockets, selling false magical trinkets, and swindling gullible merchants. However, his sharp mind and natural charisma allowed him to rise above petty crime. He soon built connections with smugglers, black-market dealers, and corrupt officials, forming the foundation of his illicit empire.
Growing up in the underbelly and starting from nothing, Dharakas was eventually met by a Diabolic Dragon who promised him he would resurrect his mother if he took over Vallyn's gate and gave it to Asmodeus to rule.
